Critical Thinking in Continuing Education

This one-day course is designed for the healthcare professional to present an overview in the management of patients that require respiratory support.  This course will cover the management of patients with acute hypoxemic/hypercapnic respiratory failure, the dynamics of gas exchanbe, the solubility of various gases, the systems affected by oxygen deficits, causes of V/Q imbalances, oxygen and non-oxygen responsive shunting and arterial blood gases analysis.
