No Break for Congressional Delegates

Thanks to the persistence of SEIU Nevada members and our partners, Congressional recess offered little respite for Nevada’s delegates.

A Tax Day rally outside Trump Las Vegas brought out 300 people and included the arrest of KLASTV photojournalist Neb Solomon.

The day after Easter proved challenging for U.S. Sen. Dean Heller (R) and Rep. Mark Amodei (R), who held a joint town hall in Reno.

More than 900 people, including SEIU Nevada members, showed up to hold Heller and Amodei accountable.

Also April 17th,  about 50 people, including six SEIU Nevada members, held a press conference at the Capitol and then attended Heller’s speech inside. Read more in The Hill, and KTVN.
